An invitation to join in The Big Plastic Count and take part in the UK’s biggest ever investigation into household plastic waste. All you need do is to collect and wash your plastic waste during the week 11 - 16th March and bring it along to Christ Church. When you arrive, there will be an art project to create Angels from the rubbish that we’ve all collected. Let’s use our power as consumers to challenge the government, the producers and the supermarkets to phase out plastic packaging for good. By being kind to the planet by reducing plastic waste we are also showing kindness to those who are already affected by the climate emergency.
- Free and open to everyone - just turn up. You can record your plastic waste in advance or fill in a record form when you arrive.
- Tea, coffee, squash, cake and biscuits will be available.
