About The Event
As a parent, facing tantrums, conflicts, and stress is inevitable. Discover the solution to enhance well-being and foster positive family relationships with compassion-based parenting. Attend our workshop to explore research-based tools for managing strong emotions, creating moments of calm with your child, regulating both your and your child's nervous system during distress, and setting compassionate boundaries. Witness positive changes from six Danish childcare institutions, where compassion is employed as a pedagogical method since 2021. Results include improved cooperation among children, increased tranquility during snack-time and shared activities, and enhanced conflict resolution skills.
Globally renowned educator Mikkel B. Kristiansen, director and founder of the Kind Heart Project, combines Nordic early childhood education principles with advanced research in compassion, social-emotional learning, and trauma-informed education.
