Our kitchen is vegan with vegetarian options available. We are also coeliac friendly (our chef is coeliac so understands the measures needed to achieve this, please speak to us for more info)

Allergies
All of our meals are available with gluten free, vegan or dairy free versions.
We use dairy, soya, bread containing gluten (but no gluten containing flour), mustard, sulphites and range of nuts in the kitchen.
If you have a food allergy please talk to the chef about kitchen/food safety.
About the Kindness Kitchen
It's a little bit different! Where else asks you to make your own drink? But we are part of a bigger community working towards kindness.
We are a minimal waste kitchen using, where possible, locally sourced seasonal, organic or agroecological grown foods.
We love to collaborate with other small businesses & companies with similar values of kindness towards our planet, its people & all living beings.

About The Good Heart
Not just a cafe, but a community space to help us all be more kind.
We are a volunteer-led community group that focuses on kindness as a way to encourage health and happiness & alleviate loneliness and isolation in Frome. We do this by:
* Offering free hot drinks & affordable meals in our pay-it-forward cafe
* Hosting a range of 'well-being spaces', events & Llike-minded groups
* Coordinating the annual Frome Kindness Festival
In 2023 The Good Heart was awarded BBC Radio Somerset Community Group of the Year.

If you would like to make a donation to pay for a meal for someone who needs it, please make a donation via the button at the bottom of this page.
Alternatively you can make a donation in person by speaking to a member of staff.
If you require a meal please go to The Good Heart cafe and take a token, or speak to a member of staff. No eligibility questions will be asked.
